My first sighting
That wing is soooooo coooooool....
You can serve drinks on it and dry your underwear on it and everything!
Makes me want to cut my hair with a lawnmower and wear baggy pants and listen to Eminem.
Dodge Info Center....
check my siggy; show it to your boss....
that'll even up the feedback toward the side of sanity!

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning with a pollen induced headache....
but even in my state of impairment I wouldn't say the Charger is good looking. It's something I'll grow accustomed to seeing on te road, like dead animals and potholes.
And that's as congenial as it gets.
P.S. The little yeller ricemobile isn't really that bad, I'm just a little on the ornery side today....

tsk tsk tsk gentlemen...
im sure people made the same jokes about the superbird...
but this little rocket, with 143 hp/liter would put a factory quarter mile stompin' to almost anything our beloved DCX has ever made...and WILL stomp anything DCX has ever made on any road with more than a slight bend...

I always admired the winged cars for their performance capability, as I do the Hemi powered '06 Charger, but the winged cars were funny looking IMO, which is why some dealers had to take the nose and wing off of a few just to sell them.
At least their odd appearance had a specific purpose; winning races.
From what I've read about the '06, the only reason it looks the way it does was to satisfy the ego of Trevor Creed. To add insult to injury, the Na$car Charger has proven to be a midpack slug for the most part.

yeah....im not too happy with it either...but there is always hope with the Challenger...
its not so much the 4 door part that bugs me, its the basic size...i could deal with an SRT4...its fast, compact, and comes in a stick shift...like all sports cars should...nissan makes their flagship sedan in a stickshift..so why not the charger?

Yeah, finally got up close and personal with one yesterday. I will admit, yes I'll admit, it isn't as ugly in person. The car photographs horribly.
However, for all the creative angles and perspectives that "they" shot, creating false impressions, or enhancing the appearance of aspects that are generally non-existant or muted in reality -- it's just not enough. And what is there is different direction in styling from what I would shop for in a "Charger". Besides the 4 doors. It's LX through and through -- and maybe that in itself heads off stying I would hope for right there. Honestly I would have eaten my words if I arrived there and thought "woah. Charger"... but that didn't happen.
Actually drove by it at first... noticed the slight (ahem '67 Mustang) shoulder and then, looked at the grill to confirm. Was weird it was just parked regularly out front of the dealership in a row with everything from employee cars to what have you. Might have already been owned (it was a 6) though I'm surprised there wasn't more "hoohaa" around it, or one on display.
Man, that front looks some tall and fat in person. And that rear window...back end... Intrepid...
I'll be interested to see what they do with the Challenger name....
