Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

Default My first sighting

I was driving past a Dodge Dealershi in Downers Grove IL and was like Holy $h!t they have one oh man I gotta go check this out. I like it, always did. I'd take one of those ANY DAY over that GTO...4 door but ****, it's a nice looking car. I'd hate to see that front end crawling up on me in my rear view mirror that's for sure!

Yesterday on I75 south of Atlanta I was passed by a red Charger with Florida tag. I tracked with it for several mile- nice looking car. Very tough looking in front, much like a large Neon in back. It looked nothing like a 300, very unique. This one had a body painted grill instead of the silver one I've seen in many photos. (No, it was'nt a Magnum!). Does anyone know if this grille is an option? It was a base model Charger, not an RT.

only r/t get chrome grill from what Ive read. we have 2 at my dealership. both r/t. one was blue the other was greenish. both had the same exact options, so they were identical cars, with different colors. those seats are so much more comfortable then the Pacifica leather. the Pacifica leather is too firm.

HI Blue Diamond,

It’s great to see there is a lot of interest on the new Dodge Charger…

Going forth, I wanted to let you know that the chrome grill is a standard feature on the R/T and the SXT trim levels of the Dodge Charger, and the body colored grill can be found on the SE model. Also you might want to check out the Dodge Website as you can get a better idea from the pictures there.

If there are any other questions or comments please feel free to post a reply,

Thanks,

Aliyah.

Saw my first one up close and personal yesterday at the dealer, while I was picking up my truck. While it does look better in person, it still does nothing for me. Too much of a generic and bland sedan; different angles resemble so many things already out there. It also seems a lot bigger in person- it definitely appears to be a heavyweight. Can't imagine a V6 moving it along with much zip at all. I'll still be holding out hope for the rumored Challenger for any future DCX purchase- this one ain't gonna do it.

That's a DCX product? Looks like a Mitsu-something or other. Not sure- love the wing though![sm=loser.gif]

mitsu.....DCX...same thing....

at least this one has some *****...

its the new Evolution 9...factory 12s, and it turns in the same times on "the ring" as the new lambo!

if DCX doesnt want to produce a real sports car..with a stick shift and some *****...ill take my business elsewhere..and this car is practically an SRT4...but mitsu has the sense to not just STOP making a good sellling car like the SRT4 for the hell of it...
its like they WANT to run people off..

"the sRT4 is selling great...lets stop making it!"
