Default cd-radio question

I bought a used am/fm cd radio for my charger and the cd part doesn't seem to work
When I put the cd in it ejects it and reloads it a few times and after it stays in and supposed to play it shows "Err" on the screen
The radio part is ok
Obviously I will return it I was just wondering if anyone knows why it's doing that ?

No idea what's up with it but it's cool that you can return a used sterio. Guess this can be chalked up to you get what you pay for.

That's true but for $40 and another $18 for shipping it back I can't complain It wasn't worth it for me to put a brand new radio for a few hundred dollars in a used car when a used one will work just as well
They sent me another used one and this one works fine
I figured it was something with the motor (jammed/binding) for the cd because I did not hear the cd spinning up.
