Default ESP Off

Okay, so I am sitting in the drive thru line at DQ in the rain with my car in drive and foot on the break and my ESP just turned off. Heard a ding and the ESF off light comes on. Tried pushing the ESP button on the dash and nothing. I have a 06 Daytona. Any ideas why this would happen? I plan to check it tomorrow and see if it reset.

Hey DaleMc0622 I havn't see you here and wanted to give you a proper welcome to the forum!

I would chalk this up to a fluke unless it continues to happen.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the welcome, these forums have a lot of good information and I appreciate the fact that they are here. Again, thanks for the welcome. And as a follow up, the next morning the ESP had reset, someone told me that if you sit with your foot on the brake for an extended period of time the ESP turns off and then resets after the vehicle is turned off. I think it has something to do with the anti-lock brakes.
