I would love some help if anyone has had or seen this problem. I was driving to work last night in my 08 charger and the a/c button and the defroster button started to blink on and off alternating. It didn't affect the working of the a/c. I turned the a/c button off and they both stopped. When i got back into my car this morning and started it up it was doing the same thing. The lights between the a/c button and the rear window defroster were blinking alternatly. If someone could help i would sure be thankful. I used a code reader but it showed nothing wrong.

Its usually an indication of a fault code in the A/C control head. The control head is a standalone ECU like the PCM, but can't be read by a generic code reader.
You might be able to find a chart online showing the possible fault codes. The different codes are indicated by which lights are flashing. Otherwise its a trip to the dealer.
