Went to the dealership...
I went to the dealership this morning. I'm in the process of becoming a salesman at Tallahassee Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. The manager knows my family and assured me 90% that I would get the job. I walk to her office and what do I see? A BEAUTFUL dark blue/midnight blue R/T Charger! Already sold. I stood there and looked at it for 30 minutes, amazed! They also has another R/T and 3 V6's...
Regardless if you want to call this a muscle car or a sedan. It doesn't matter, because this thing is BEAUTIFUL! The grill is MEAN as hell! I thought the crosshair was rounded, but it's kinda like a wide knife. Awesome looking! A good move by DCX. This is a GREAT replacement for the Intrepid! I didn't want the Intrepid to go, but this is just fine!

it is a beauty ain't it. they let me sit in and play around with the features and stuff on the showroom of my local dealer. ours was also midnight blue. they also have a greenish r/t, and 2 v6s, one being red, and the other black.
Good luck getting the job. I really want to see it in person after hearing all of you talk about it. Trying to get a trip planned.
I was reading an article about the police cruisers just being a stock Charger R/T. Is it powerful enough not to need modifications for police work?

if that piece of ford Volvo from some other thread can be a PIGger car, then a charger r/t is way more then powerful enough.
Lucky guy Chase, dealership should be a fun job and good paying. I don't really care for the Charger that much, however I'd buy that over a Mustang pos anyday.

Hmm...and a dodge charger cruiser will look a lot meaner... do you know why they chose the R/T over the SRT-8? $$?
