I know there is a way to get the information from the VIN#, just not sure how, so consider this a BUMP.

The only thing that I can think of is if you have every single available option inside. I mean navigation, power seats, moon roof, etc. It's the R package if I remember correctly. What is added is a slightly better flowing exhaust, slightly better front brakes, and a slighlty better suspension. All of which is not as good as what comes on a SRT.

Now, keeping that in mind. I bought my Charger with the performance package. By week 2, exhaust was changed. By week 5, the front pads were replaced. They were not all that good. The suspension was the only thing I appreciated however if I was going to really race it, that would have been replaced to.

If you don't have all the options, then you don't have the performance package. What it is is Dodge living up to what R/T is supposed to mean. Road and Track. Not just a badge.

17 in rims definately means that you don't have the performance package. The R package comes with the 20's.

The brake pads aren't bigger, they are just a different quality. Nothing real special either, but mine started squeaking about 9000 miles into owning it and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to stop, so I changed them out.

If you have 17" rims....you don't have a Hemi. If you have a Hemi...you don't have 17" rims....UNLESS some dirtbag before you bought it put 17s on for winter and left them on. All Hemis (to my knowledge) have 18s except performance (R/T with R&T package) which has 20s from the factory.

:EDIT: well I was doing some digging on EBAY and I did find an '07 Hemi Charger with 17" rims.......so I stand corrected. I have never seen these rims before.
