Default 2011 Starter Issue

I traded my truck off yesterday for a 2011 R/T, today I had an issue that kind of scared me.

I pushed the button trying to set it to Assc mode (Normally like turning your key backwards) but forgot to take my foot off the brake. In doing so, it tried to turn over for around 7-10 seconds to no avail. I then freaked, put my foot on the brake and tried to start it to find the same results. After that, it starts fine, but with a bit of hesitation.

Am I being paranoid, or is there something I should be worried about? I've had the car for less than 24 hours so I'm a little worried about this. It doesn't seem to want to start like it was, but I could just be peranoid. My plan is to take it by the dealership tomorrow but I'm trying to figure out if I'm just overreacting.

Thanks,
Death

Your story is hard to follow? If you had your foot on the brake and it turned over why would you have to put your foot on the brake after you freaked out? If you didn't have your foot on the brake and you tried to start your car it wouldn't do anything. If you accidentally tried to start your car but abruptly stopped before it started and then tried to start it you may have caused a rich condition that would account fore the hesitation in starting. If it starts normally after you tired to screw things up you can chalk it up to user error. If it hesitates each time you try to start it up take it back to the dealer.

I think it was user error.. seems fine now.. I'm just paranoid, my truck was trusty and this thing is new to me lol.

I must say that I am LOVING it though
