Whoops, sorry didn't know the website was shut down (noesp.com), have not looked into this mod for awhile.

The key trick won't work on your '06 model, only mid-year build '07 models and up, first generation.

I installed a switch inside the center console on my wifes R/T to kill the power to t he ESP system. Pull the center console and locate the violet wire with the light blue stripe. That is the power to the ESP accelerometer. Cut that wire and inatall a switch in it. I soldered extra wire so that I could mount the switch inside the center console. I used a small toggle switch and mounted it inside the bottom of the largest coin slot. That way it can't be accidentally hit.
When the switch is in the off position ESP/BAS is completely disabled until you turn the switch back on and restart the car.

If you've never driven these cars with no traction control you will be surprised. They are a totally different beast.

So did u just use a regular toggle switch? And how did u configure the wires from the toggle switch?I kno tht u said the violet wire controls the Part tht u want off,so I guess the power wire on the toggle switch goes to the violet wire and which wire did u ground it with??

When referring to the Center console R u meaning where piece where the ESP button above the radio? I removed it and saw 2 violet wires, one with a white stripe and one with wat could b a light blue or light gray stripe. I spliced in the toggle switch "in the off position" and tried it out. Nothing seemed to happen.. When u did this did the ESP "off" indicator come on?
