The order went out today for the Daytona
Well I bit the bullet today and placed the order for the Go Mango Dayton. I equipped it with:
AFC - Electronic Convenience Group
GWA – Power Sun Roof
RSA – Sirius Satellite Radio
ATL – Sound Group II
Well, I'm hoping it will be here tomorrow, but that is probably asking for a little too much. How long do you suppose this whole order process will take? 8 weeks maybe? Near as I can tell there are no problems (delays) with any of those options I selected correct?

Having just waited a month to finally get my VIN, I've been watching the production announcements and those options should be just fine. The only worry is your dealer's allocation and timing. A wait of 8 to 10 weeks would not be unheard of and 12 weeks if things get bogged down. I am only guessing here, but I would guess that you should see it built very late this month or sometime in September with a delivery in the later parts of next month. Congratulations! Welcome to the LX club.
Thanks, yes I test drove an R/T..quite a ride.
And yes I'm hoping with the Sat Radio and the Sound Group II that it will rock real well. I am still trying to figure out what exactly sound group II will get me. Can anyone verify?

This is from the '06 Charger Brochure:
RADIO: AM/FM/Cassette radio, CD with 6-disk and MP3 compatibility
SG II: 6 Boston Acoustic with 322-watt digital amplifier and subwoofer
Now the standard speakers are also 6 Boston Acoustics, but it doesn't say if the speakers for the SG2 are upgrades or not. The SG2 does upgrade the amplifier from 276-watts to the 322 and adds the subwoofer.

The extra power must just be a powered subwoofer.
Will the 6-disk CD be a changer in the trunk?
I don't know for a fact (I don't have mine yet), but I have not read anything around a trunk changer. It was my understanding that it is in-dash. Anyone else know about this?

The changer is in the dash. I have one.
