The car is a 09 SXT AWD. I'm getting a vibration in the steering wheel sometimes while driving. Speed does not seem to play a factor, this happens at low and highway speeds. As soon as I touch the brakes, it goes away. The car only does this once every week or so. Everything seems to be tight in the steering and I don't hear any noises while going over bumps or cornering. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

um... This almost sounds like your wheel is loose. try torque down your lug nuts.

Also, hows your tire condition? sometimes a bad tire can do that. and try rotate and maybe Balance all your tires.

 

Wheels are tight, tires have 8k miles on them with a dead-nuts alignment.
