I have a new Magnum RT and the manual says to vary the speed for the first 500 miles. Keep it under 60 for the first 300 and don't hesitate to do some hard accelerations now and then, but not all the time. That's what I did.

Thanks, guys.
I was driving home from work a few days ago with my husband in the car and I brought her up to speed from an on ramp in no time at all (not even close to peeling out, Mind you.) and my hubby about blew his lid. The RPMs never went over 4200. I just snickered at him....
