Default Charger Dies at highway speed

The engine on my 2008 Dodge Charger will sometimes die while driving at highway speed. It has happened 3 times in the last 6 months, twice on a recent trip. While driving at 65 mph, cruise control set, and at night, the engine simply quit. It happened again 3 days later except in daylight so the lights weren't on, but I was using the cruise control. Luckily, in both cases, I was able to restart the engine without stopping the car.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Any suggestions?
