ESP/BAS light not turning on at startup 2006 charger rt
My esp/bas lights are not turning on during startup nor is the airbag light. I get a single chime upon driving but no error message or check engine light come on. Has anyone had this problem? 2006 charger rt
I do a TON of electrical and module repairs on Chargers, Magnums and 300s from used car lots all the time. It seems that body style is overwhelmingly popular among wreck rebuilders for some reason.
80% of the problems I see from them are the configuration issues from using modules/computers from salvage cars that have different build configurations. They will set tons of troube codes, that won't go away, sometimes ending up with multiple modules having to be replaced new.
I would start by hitting a dealer and ask them for a "Scan Report" on your car from WiTech and have them print it out for you. They can even put it on a jump drive as a PDF file. If there are any mixed VIN numbers and such, i'll be able to pick out whats up.

I bought his car from the first owner, he bought it brand new and confirmed it on title and on carfax... Car does not have any mechanical or electrical issues or check engine light on but just curious why thise lights did not warm up!
OK then. If there is more than just one warning lamp not doing a bulb check, it's likely a cluster issue. I do remember one like this from before though. There was a fuse in the trunk fuse box that got knocked out. Think it was a 5 amp one, but can't remember exactly. The circuit was an obscure one.
