Need AC on to defrost?
Hi All
Feel free to move this to a technical section - it may apply to other Dodge vehicles...
Anyway, I'm certainly used to the AC compressor coming on when Defrost is selected - acts like a dehumidifier. But it seems that I need to manually select AC in this new Charger. Wasn't expecting that...
To clarify, got in car on a humid morning and the windows started to fog a little bit. So i turned on Defrost and it started getting WORSE! I pushed the AC button, and after a few seconds, all the window fog disappeared.
So enlighten me - do Dodge vehicles require pushing the AC button to get the compressor to work?
Thanks!
Brian
