Default Looking for 2012-13 Charger SE Info

I'm going to purchase a 2012 or 2013 SE or SXT?. A V6 powered Charger by the end of the year and am researching now.

I have a performance vehicle so the V6 SE will be what I need.

I am coming in blind.
If anyone has info or tips of any kind please toss them at me.
Option packages?
Why a 2012 over a 2013 or the reverse?
8 Speed trans option? Yes or no?
Things to look for in a used one?

Anything that will jump start my research please.

Thanks!

Have you compared v-8 and v-6 prices?

Maybe this will help

YW. The 3.6 is OK, but if you can get a 5.7 R/T at a comparable price, I believe it will hold it's resale value better. Of course that all depends on gas prices when you decide to sell it. You know the prevailing myth of V-8 engines getting VERY POOR MPGs.

Thanks,

When doing auto trader on line searches I find it amazing how there are few or no private sellers.

Please tell me the trim versions in order of lesser options to more?

I'm back and with 2013 Charger R/T Plus!
I researched, waited and lurked and found exactly what I wanted.
Dark Gray / No Spoiler / R/T / Plus Trim /.

It was a one owner trade in at a Honda Dealership, clean car fax, garage kept, senior citizen owned. Not a single mod, not even window tint. All the service records. 67k retiree highway miles.
I am like - pinch me. The interior and paint are mint. The owner is handicapped so he never got a door ding.
When I called asking about it he said its no exaggeration. He said the detail dept didn't even need to armor-all anything.
A new set of Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring Tires to boot. I am very pleased with, and surprised how well these tires ride and handle for $125.00 tires.

I'm Good!

I like the the touring look of no spoiler. Dodge did a fantastic job. The window tint and wax jobs are the only exterior mods that will happen.

Thanks,

Yeh, I was serious. Picky, but Serious.

The market for these cars is kind of tough. Black and white V6 builds everywhere, dark gray hard to find in the build I wanted.

Do an auto-trader and what-not then select "Private Sellers Only" and get pretty much no results.
People hang onto them, dealers can get good prices and give decent trades so they almost have the used market locked (in my 200 mile radius).

I did see a few on Craigs list but I didn't see one like this.
Tons of police service chargers hitting the market, no thanks.
