Golden:
Please provide more information such as how many miles are on the R/T, and any recent service history.
How long have you owned it? Are you getting a CE light, or other warning light on the speedo cluster? From the sound of it, you may have multiple issues going on here.

4 years no lights on dash or nothing just runs rough at light and when slowing down mechanic said could be front motor mounts

That is a start. How many miles on it? Has it ever been tuned up?
You should be able to check the engine mounts fairly easily by opening the hood, and with the trans in drive and then reverse apply a bit of throttle while keeping your foot firmly on the brake.
If the engine moves up or side to side more than 1-1.5 inches, you may have a bad mount.
If not, they are probably ok.
The rough idle could be a vacuum leak from the intake or a hose. The vibration when slowing could be a drive shaft U joint on its way out.
