Default Oil Leak

Just bought a 2014 dodge charger and ive had it a week and im running into the exact same issue with the oil filter and cooler housing. Its to bad someone hasnt remade the part out of aluminum instead of the cheap plastic original factory part. I cant understand how this would not be considered a manufacture defect im highly annoyed by the problem and hoping the dealership i bought it from will repair it.

Hi Josh--I'm sorry to hear about this! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us in a private message with your VIN if we can help set up an appointment at your selling Dodge dealership, or follow up with them once your vehicle is in for service.

Hello kori i appreciate the reply. I am currently having the dealership that i bought the car from work on the car. I would have had a dodge dealership do it but the part is not covered under factory warranty and the wanted to charge me 120.00 just to look at it. If you have any information about if this would be covered it would be highly appreciated. The car vin is 2C3CDXJG8EH116365. I strongly feel that since this part has been redesigned due to faulty design, that it really should be covered at least for the first time to the redesigned part. But thats only my opinion. I hope to hear from you and thank you again.

Hey Josh,

Unfortunately we're only able to help if the vehicle is being serviced at one of our certified dealerships. If you wanted to use a CDJR dealership in the future, I'd be happy to reach otu to one in your area.
