Thanks!
I have been googling this for some time and have only seen one hint but it had a sorry excuse for a display of it.
I see videos and and all kinds of info about disconnecting the battery to bring it back to life but nothing like this.
I have a new module in route and hope I get to return it box unopened.
I have an 11:30 appointment for the flash tomorrow.
I reply with the results.

OK,
The bad news is the flash did not recover the module.
The good news is there was no charge. I was in and out in 45 minutes.
Afterwards a tech spoke with me and said when you have one that will reset with a battery cable pull and touch its only a matter of time.
The best thing to do is leave it and take it in for a flash. But its a 50/50 deal.
Also from the tech is my module's part number was OE 68158125AC and if I get a replacement with p/n 68222278AA there is no need to flash its up to date.
But do your research my build sheet contained;
RSL Bluetooth Streaming Audio
RSP Uconnect Voice Command w/Bluetooth
If yours id different you need a different module (maybe).
My $237.99 shipped from Amazon came in and is doing well.
