Default Offset

Hello all, I unfortunately have to replace my rims on 2009 Dodge Charger R/T. I read they should be between a 20 and 24 mm offset. I found a set I like and all the numbers look right but the offset which is a 18mm offset. Would that be a issue?

What is the backspacing on the stock rims, and the ones you are looking at? What sizes are both rims?

unfortunately, I bought the car used with 22 inch rims on it and I can't stand low profile tires. So im not sure about the stock rims was, the door jam tag says 18's and the dealership said there are 5x115 with 24mm offset.

Newegg sells WHEELS????? When did that start? I thought they were just computer hardware.... (as I have built a couple by ordering parts from them.......)

What's backspacing on the current wheels? That is the only thing I would really be concerned about.

I haven't had to to go messure it yet, but would a 4mm spacer do the trick to get it to the correct offset distance?

Offset is irrelevant. It's backspacing that is important. One is the product of the other.

If both wheels are the same width, then that 4mm isn't going to make any difference at all.
