Default Engine swap

Is this possible. I recently purchased a 2004 Dodge Durango SLT with a 5.7 L Hemi magnum, I also have a 2007 Dodge Charger SE that had a 3.5 L V/6 that needs an engine would it be possible to put the Hemi in the charger and what problems would I run into.

Merged your duplicate posts. Your first 3 posts ask about putting the 5.7 from the Durango into the Charger. Your last post says you want to put the 3.5 from the Charger into the Durango....which is it you want to do?

No need for drama. Just clarify what exactly it is you want to do.

You can't. Go find another 5.7 for the Durango and stop being such a b!tch.

Ok lol...3.5L V6 was never designed to sit where you wanna put it. That Durango for starters has a transmission a 3.5L was never hooked to. The PCM in the Durango won't run a 3.5L; you'd have to try and modify/integrate the 3.5L's harness and PCM into the Durango. I am willing to bet real money you have neither the money or mechanical/electrical know how and tools (including flashing modules) to do that. Most likely it wouldn't run from all the module and VIN mismatch as the modules all tried to communicate (especially since the Durango and the Charger have different speed CAN bus systems that aren't' compatible)...shall I go on?
