Default First Oil Change

New to the forum and first time Dodge owner. Just got my new 2018 Charger SXT Plus this past week. Was looking through the owner's manual but couldn't really find info on when I should be having the 1st oil changed done (mileage/months). Also, what brand of oil is recommended and is full synthetic required for this type of engine?

Last thing, does the dealer have to do the oil changes in order not to void warranty or can I do myself?

You can do it yourself. It won't void the warranty as long as you use the right viscosity oil. Meaning if the manual calls for 5W20 then don't use 5W30. I run Mobile One Sythentic and a K&N Filter. I change my oil every 5000 Miles. With conventional oil I would recommend every 3000 miles.

Great. Thanks for the quick response.

Do I have to keep receipts or some sort of proof that the oil was changed @ said intervals?

It’s not a bad idea to keep receipts just in case.
