Default 2006 Charger A/C question

Our 2006 Charger A/C unit isn't blowing as hard as it used to. Even on the recirculate setting. The backlights for that part of the dash are also out. Not sure if that is related.
It has been hot here and my wife wants more cold air. Anybody have this issue before and know the fix? Thank you in advance!

if the problem is reduced air flow velocity...check to see if the cabin filter is clogged. remove it, put the cover back on and run the system; any change?

Cabin filter is only for outside air, if there is reduced flow on recirc (pulls from inside the cabin) there is a problem somewhere else.

if the recirc door is before cabin filter... and they usually are..all air must go thru the cabin filter.

the recirc door usually sit on the top of the hvac box near the top of the firewall cutout. If the recirc door is open to the firewall opening...you get outside air...if the recirc door is closed.. the cutout is closed off but the air still goes thru the recirc door to the filter beneath it.

Cabin filter on the LX/LC is on the outside on the firewall (and not all of them come with it) and is solely for filtering incoming air from outside; mayhaps you should actually know or understand the system you are speaking of...
