Bought this cruiser on a sketch car lot two weeks ago for $2500 with 175K miles. I've put 574 miles on it so far without an issue, seems to run like a top. Fired it up this morning and let it run for the usual 20 minutes in 18F to defrost. Went out to go to work and the defrost was blowing ice cold. Motor was warmed up at mid way on the temp gauge. Scraped the windows and drove about one block and the heat kicked on full blast. Working since then. Any ideas as to WTF happened this morning?

 

It was the water pump. Replaced it and it all works fine now.
