Default Hemi Tick

Can anyone shed some light on Hemi tick? As in, what is it / is it a problem / how do i fix it?

Its so annoying!

Several things can cause it.

According to theory, the injectors are loud, and can be the sound you hear.

Exhaust manifold bolts break, and can give you a tick. (exhaust leak)

Lifters can fail, and that will definitely give you a tick. This can also lead to galled/destroyed camshafts.....

If you have the MDS system, sticking solenoids, or them simply not sealing completely, will cause a tick.

Using the wrong weight oil can cause a tick.

The VVT system can make some interesting noises as well........

First step is, figure out which one is causing it. And that is not always an easy task, as most of them are inside the engine.....
