Default 2018 Charger GT AWD transmission question.

I have a 2018 awd Charger GT with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The one thing I don’t like about the car is the transmission. Sometimes it seems like the car doesn’t know what gear it wants and sometimes it even feels like it slips. The issues are more noticeable when the car is cold but even from a rolling stop when warmed up it can act up. I’ve had the dealer look into it but they say nothing is wrong. Anyone else have similar issues? I got this car new and it only has 26k on it but I’m thinking of unloading it before the warranty expires.

Is there a software update available for it?

I haven’t heard anything about a software update. The dealer said they reset it to factory parameters but it didn’t make a difference.

Maybe try and take one of the service writers for a ride, see if you can show him the problem......

Those 8 speeds are very picky. It takes them a long to to adapt to your driving style.
