We currently have a 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T, which I have drove, and I love the Power.

for part of my 16th birthday, my dad and I our wondering which charger we should get

Charger R/T has its high points, so does the SRT-8
(I am going to buy a aftermarket hood,even if i get the R/T, at Highhorsepower.com)

Charger R/T: 340hp:390lbs of torque
0-60(no clue)
Max speed 150-153 MPH
But if i did get the R/T I would get extras like track packages and ext...

Charger SRT-8:425hp:420lbs of torque(i think)
0-60(no clue)
Max speed:no clue


any help I would enjoy, so Please vote and give your opinon.

16 years old.... You should get an SXT...

 

i think midnightblue is on track with an sxt for a 16 year old

 

I voted for the R/T...by the way if your Dad is gonna buy one for you..can I borrow him for some stuff I want?

 

At 16 you should get a 72 monaco. Learn to drive a clunker first then earn your way to a new car.

 

I agree with MidnightblueNeon, I vote for the SXT. At 16 ......

 

I went with the srt-8 if you want a car that is fast enough that you don't really need any modd's. But you could get a R/T get exhaust, cold-air intake, headers, superchip and you would be able to pretty much stick with a srt-8. If you want to beast them get a cam from krcperformance.

 

If cost (including gas performance) wasn't an issue then my choice would be SRT8. Reason being "out of the box" fun and thrills w/o modding, then the moding fun begins... hang on.
