Default A/C passenger side not working properly

I have a 2016 dodge charger R/T

So i am having a problem with my passenger side AC (the car has a dual zone system) , the driver side if i change the temperature it works just fine, but as soon as i activate the heater on the passenger side nothing happens, it stays blowing cold although the temperature is set to the highest heat possible, if i activate defroster/floor vents it will swap out to that mode but the temperature will not change whilst the driver side will respond accordingly to the set temperature, If i raise or lower the fan speed both sides will react accordingly and either blow harder or lower but the temperature on the passenger side will not change whatsoever
