So a good friend of mine just bought a sxt 07 charger with a 5,7 out of a 07 durango it isint running as is im wondering if anyone here has any experience with a similar project.as of right now we have the wiring loom for the 5,7 engine and the original fron the sxt could this be as simple as chaning the cars computer.

 

The two extra cylinders are gonna be a problem for the original computer. Don't know if the computers are compatible between the two though. It's worth a shot at least.

 

The control systems between the two vehicles aren't compatible lol.......someone didn't even remotely research/think this through.
