What's a remote tune? Why do you need one?

Misfire code, trans code.... do you have a separate trans control module?

 

No all one unit , have a 396 Stroker motor . It’s supercharger . Got a remote tune though. Hp tuners . Codes have something to do with tune . Don’t have a dyno near me .

 

Aka email tune. Most custom tuners tune by remote, starting with a startup tune then refining through datalog.

 

I'd be havin' a chat with your tuner then. Can you datalog?

 

I just got the car . The guy before me put motor in and had it tuned first scan didn’t show anything , 2nd one did . I’ve emailed the guy who tuned it no response . He did give me 4 tunes for car . I won’t drive car till I get it fixed . Guessing going to have to take long drive and put on dyno . I was hoping some one on here ran into same thing and might have some advice .
