2007 dodge charger sxt not charging help
Okay. So one day. i'm driving my charger and all the sudden i have loss of power to my radio, and then all the sudden my dash lights go haywire and speedometer stops working. with in 3 minutes i'm on the side of the road and my car wont start back up. I have a new Alternator that I got tested and it is in working condition. My car started right up and off I went. about a week later, Same thing happens. except this time. I shred my belt. Put a new belt on and get jump started and off I go.. only for a couple miles and my car dies again. I pull the alternator back out and have it tested. it is good. buy a new battery it is good. I replace the ground strap. and I replace negative battery cable to chassis with a 2 gauge. still nothing.
now, when we hook my car up to another car. My car will start and run.. while its running, we pull a jumper cable off and my car dies. indicating the alternator. What am I missing here?
1. Is there an inline fuse? a link i should be checking?
2. Which relays or fuses?
3. certain connections?
If you guys could send detailed information, videos and pictures, dumbing it down as much as possible. I would appreciate it.
I am learning so much and I LOVE MY CAR. Thank you for your help.

The voltage regulator for your car is in the PCM, apparently, that has failed. Still and all, with a fully charged battery, and a jump, the car should still run when the jumper cables are removed...... Need to see what voltage does when that happens. My guess is, it drops to whatever the battery is putting out.
