Exclamation 2012 Charger R/T (DENSO) Alternator B+ Terminal Size?

Hello Dodge Community,

I have a 2012 Charger R/T and lost the bolt somehow to the DENSO alternator B+ terminal. I have the alternator installed on my car and was wondering if anyone know what size nut would go on that terminal for batter charging connection. I have tried M8 x 1.25 and it screws on the first couple of threads and then stops. It obviously isn't the right one, but its close. Does anyone happen to know what size nut I would need here?

Thanks for all help,

Charlie

Do you still have the old alternator?

Traded it for a core, but I was able to look at it again today and found that the nut size I originally thought was correct (M8 x 1.25). Turns out the nut I tried initially just had bad threads from the manufacturer. Glad I didn't try forcing that nut on. I decided to get another nut and try and it worked like a charm. Thanks for trying to help though!
