Default O2 sensor splice

I have a 5.7L '06 charger and I need to replace a cat converter but I don't want to spend the money. Can I splice the downstream O2 sensor wires together from left and right catalytic converters to trick the computer? Or do I have to weld an additional O2 sensor mount into the good cat?
I am in Ontario where there is no emission inspections.

Aftermarket replacements are $500 Cdn right now and almost impossible to find in short time and I don't need cats at all. I just don't want the check engine light on all the time.

Weld in another bung then. They are cheap and easy.

Sure you can, but not if you want it to run right LMAO......get a set of catless mids and turn the rear O2 sensors off in the tune.
