Default New from Louisiana.. and a question

I have a 2010 Dodge Charger it was a pursuit vehicle for the police at one time. But I bought it from a young guy whose grandparents bought it for him, he painted it flat black but it's got a nice glossy metallic black paint underneath the new flat black (which is peeling in some areas) they didn't prime it or sand it down so my question is how can I get the flat black off and get back to the original glossy metallic black underneath?

Probably whatever you use to removed the flat black, Will also remove the paint underneath. If it's already peeling, could try a clay bar, and some elbow grease.... Might work. Welcome to DF!

Welcome to DF! Might also stop by a paint/body shop and just ask them since they can actually lay eyes on it.

This....they more than likely have or know of a way to take off a sh!tty paint job without doing too much damage to the coat underneath.
