Dodge ChargerThe Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.
I bought a 2019 Charger SXT CPO a couple of months ago and it's been making a weird noise. Realized last month that the car was sold with one of the mufflers hanging off the hangers. Not only that, but it seems the previous owner deleted the stock mufflers and replaced them with different ones. Welding was shoddy at best and now I have to get this fixed. More than likely, a stock restoration is going to be impossible unless a brand new exhaust system is put in. Any suggestions? Because the dealership refuses to help and attempted and failed to weld the hangers back on (they broke off again about 20 min after leaving the dealership. I think I probably want the whole exhaust system redone but I don't know how to go about it.
Someones welding skills leave a LOT to be desired.
Any competent muffler shop should be able to fix ya up though. I would be more inclined to go with a local, independent shop, rather than one of the 'chain' stores.
