Looks are only skin deep, but this is ugly!
Finally bought a new 22 charger. The looks had me since they came out, but just didn't get around to it until now. I've had Fury, St. Regis, Lebaron GTS, New Yorker, Avenger, and Durangos or Grand Cherokees, but this is by far the the best looking and most poorly designed of them all.
Start with the passenger seat mounted 2 inches higher than the drivers. If you're over 6 feet, you have to drive. You don't fit to ride. The back seat is absolutely worthless for adults or child seats. Why bother with 4 doors if nobody can sit inside? (Tried a Challenger, but couldn't figure out an easy way to get in because knees, butt and head all hit at once.) The other 4 doors all had room inside. My 6'1 son with a leg cast on could fit in the front seat of the Avenger. Even the tiny Lebaron GTS could have 4 adults in it and it was easier to access.
Another thing that used to be important is being able to see as you back up. If they make the windows any smaller, they might as well leave them out.
It's good that it tells your phone when you're low on gas, because you can't see the damn tiny needle on the gauge. And speaking of gas, how many miles of gravel roads will it take to plug a fuel filter with that stupid excuse for a gascap?
This is the first so called "Dodge passenger car" that has disappointed me that much within the first 5000 miles. I don't like the idea, but I guess it's Toyota time. I can fit into a Camry better, in any seat, with other people in the car, and get better mileage.
I've heard that beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone. This car proves that below the skin, ugly can take over.
