Ordered a 2023 Charger Scat Pack Plus in Plum Crazy Purple 11-1-22. As of today it is in BG status. The dealer said it is because of color I chose. Could there actually be truth to this? And I don't mind waiting until April-May to get delivery because I live in Ohio and won't let salt touch it. I traded in 2019 RT and just want to be sure I won't be left without.

Entirely possible. Though, why the paint isn't available is a very good question......
