Just recently bought 3.5L v6 charger that I knew needed work. It needs an o2 sensor and it has an engine ticking going on which I'm guessing is the rocker arms needing replacement. Until I can open her up I won't know for sure. The transmission had been rebuilt and it has an aftermarket cold air intake. Are there any other common problems I should look into while I have her apart?

 

More likely the lifters are weak. Easy to replace though.

 

No lifters in a SOHC engine. Cam followers.

 

The little fillers that hold up one end of the follower.... Or is this engine different design than the 4.7?

Upon opening her up, the left side is burnt up and almost completely dry
any suggestions on what caused this? I can only get to it every other weekend as my work schedule sucks.
