Angry '23 Hellcat - car starts but starter won't disengage

I purchased this Hellcat brand new off the showroom floor in February and I've dealt with this same intermittent issue since then. It normally happens if I let the car sit for ,usually, two or more days. I start the car and the starter stays running even after the car is running. Eventually it times out and quits. BUT on the dash screen it still says "Press brake and push button to start"... again, while the car IS STILL RUNNING. At that point I have to shut the car off and restart and it's fine. I have taken the car up to my local dealership twice now but of course since it won't do it every time they just brush me off and don't even try to help me find a diagnosis. I even had a video to show them what happens and they still don't know jack and don't seem to care to help. PLEASE has any one else with a Hellcat or a 2023 in general had this same issue? I'm stumped. We've tried to tell them possible reasons for this issue as well and they don't take any of that info in. I've even threatened to, after the next time I bring it in, to get a lawyer and try to have it lemon law'd but they seem unphased. Maybe it's just my local dealership but they're useless.

It's hard to troubleshoot a problem that isn't there when they have it. A video doesn't tell them anything, other than the fact that it IS happening. The entire starting system is purely computer controlled, so a whole host of things are happening once you push that button, any one of which could possibly be the cause. They can't just throw parts at it with no diagnosis..... They don't get paid for that. About the only alternative I see, is leave the car with them for a few days, for them to attempt to find the issue.....

And I totally understand that. I am only a little hesitant to leave the car because this particular dealership does NOTHING to prevent theft and they've had about 30 of these cars stolen in recent years. I mentioned them plugging in a data recorder to the car that way I can keep it at home and it can record the.. data. But they "don't know what that is". LOL

Not necessarily "better" but there is one where the head mechanic is apparently really good with Hellcats and has owned a couple. I'm going to talk to him and see if has any ideas.

Are you still having this issue? Did it get fixed? My hellcat is doing the same thing and looking for answers.
