Default Ruined yet another Charger

This is directed toward the Charger Concept and Creation Team. I am so disappointed in the new Charger. It looks more like a mustang than a Mopar. The first Charger body style I didn't care for - it looked too much like the Barracuda. The second one, they nailed. Beautiful. The third generation, they finally got the bodystyle right in '73. Then it has been downhill since then. I saw the new Challenger concept car and that looks pretty cool. I have never been a fan of the Challenger, but the concept car actually looks better than the original Challenger. Back to the Charger...please leave the name alone. Let it die. You've ruined it enough. Oh ya, and please don't mess with the Super Bee any more. The Super Bee is not a Truck, never has been, never will be. If you want to make THE ultimate truck, go back to the 1941 Dodge military WC12. Now that was a truck!

ps. I have a '73 Charger daily driver street rod that I absolutely love. Looks mean, sounds mean, is mean. Next time you want to make a car with the Charger name, please call me and I will gladly point you in the right direction.

Let me guess. Your other car is Japanese, right? The new Charger wannabe has a good motor and they have come a long way with that, but the styling is soooo bad. You people just don't know what the Charger stood for and how they slaughtered it once again. I guess you just won't understand what Mopar used to mean, and still does to those of us who really understand.

Well then Mr.Beast just what did the Charger stand for? And just what did MoPar stand for other than motor parts? Yer right that the bastardization of super bee/daytona names on trucks shouldn't be but marketing will be marketing just look at the "F" body decal cars at least those were still cars! you ever see the 1975 road runner! (based on a fury) at least with plymouth dead we may be spared a roadrunner staion wagon and the GTX pickem up!

Then again the old 440 or 360 warlock/redtruck's did good enough to beat the trans-am/camaro,corvette of the mid 70's fastest american produced vehicle was it in 1976 or 1978? I think it was a 360 equiped red truck in the magazine test that did the deed.

Yes in my opinion they missed the mark with the addition of 2 doors to the charger but NASCAR seems to be faking it pretty good!

i don't care the least bit about the past whether it is what the charger stood for or what mopar used to mean, it is 2006 and that doesn't matter anymore. what is important is the new charger is an all round great car. the design is to die for, the engines are quite impressive, and also it accommodates modern peoples needs. you may not like it, and you don't have to, but this is the wrong section to talk **** about it because this section is filled with proud owners and enthusiast. go to the old car section to trash it, I'm sure there are already plenty of threads there to freely express your opinion.
