Hello,

anyone got an idea of what could cause my heater to suddenly blow very very softly. I need to have my hand an inch or two away to feel any air moving and the air is hot as expected. AC blows cool just fine at full force. car did suddenly have a smell to it prior to this issue happening, almost like coolant or electrical burning. The car does not overheat, and the coolant level is fine, so I don’t think it’s a heater core issue or a coolant leak. The heater does toggle between blowing on the windshield, face and floorboard so I don’t think its and actuator, right? When switching from cool to heat it just goes silent it just doesn’t blow with any force. is there a separate blower for the AC and heat? The fuses all looked good too.

 

Same blower, but, I wonder about the air source.... is there a filter on the intake for the heater??
