Okay So I decided To Swap A 2007 5.7 hemi into it with its 2007 ecm BUT it runs like crap with the 2009 ecm in due to different valve timing. when i put the 2007 ecm in when i try to crank it it clicks and when i scan it it reads the 2007 ecm, but i cant get it reprogramed because i already called a dealership and they said “oh we cant get a already programmed ecm programmed” so i was wondering what to do a mechanic said i couod get a tuner and tune it to the stock 2007 5.7 valve timing but i dont know. its just been sitting.


UPDATE i got the 2007 ecm with coded vin all error codes go away but no crank no start

 

Bwahaha........you tried to mix and match two different generations of engine and electronics. Why on earth would you want to install the wrong engine with 30 less hp to boot?
