Dodge ChargerThe Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.
While mowing the lawn today I found a part lying underneath my car. Was wondering what it was and if my car is still safe to drive? (I am not mechanically inclined and as it is a long weekend my local mechanics shop is closed). Also, it's from a 2014 Dodge Chager SXT AWD. It was lying almost right under the passenger side back door but could have dropped from the front. It is from the passenger side

It goes just in front of the passenger rear tire. It's essentially a jacking point, which might explain why yours is a bit crushed.

So I assume then it's still okay to drive for now and then order a new one and have it replaced? I was just worried about getting to work before the shop could look at it. And thank you so much for your help!!
Yeah, it doesn't have any structural function and doesn't appear to block anything off from getting inside the vehicle. From your pictures, I'm not even all that sure you need to replace the one you have (depending on if the factory jack is supposed to use that point) versus just snapping it back in place. I didn't try to pull the piece off my girlfriend's car, but it did wiggle a bit. It didn't seem to be held in place very robustly.
