Over the past few weeks my 2018 Charger Daytona 392 has been having an issue that I think is likely related to the CAN bus, but I have not yet figured out the common denominator. At first it seemed rather sporadic, but I think has been getting worse now over the past week. Sometimes (now most of the time) when starting my car, several of the modules are disabled and set codes for communication lost. I don't have the list of codes handy but can pull them down again this evening. Consistently when this happens, the SRS is disabled, the Lane Keep Assist is disabled, the Blind Spot system is disabled, the HVAC is disabled, and the backup camera doesn't work (blue screen). Initially after driving about a block or two these would come back on, but now it seems to take several miles before they're resume working. And they all start working at the same time. Half of the bad units are on the Bus-H and the other half are on Bus-L, which causes me to think this might not be as simple as a bad solder joint or other loose connection somewhere. Once they start working, they so far have continued to work for the remainder of the drive. But if I stop, shut off the car, then immediately restart it they often start up in the disabled state. This further causes me to think it may not be a connection issue unless its a connection that triggers an interrupt or signal that gets latched and reset upon startup.

But I'm not sure if there's some common module that controls manages the High and Low CAN bus, maybe the Secure Gateway Module? I've tried resetting all the modules and tried leaving the battery disconnected for several minutes, but that hasn't yielded any noticeable change. I so have a Tazer installed using their bypass cable. When the modules are acting up, the Tazer also doesn't seem to be communicating with the car. I've tried leaving the Tazer disconnected and that doesn't make things better either.

Any suggestions before deciding I need to schedule an appointment with the dealership? I hate the thought of that, but I feel like I'm almost to that point. And of course I'd want to completely uninstall the Tazer before taking it in.

Eeek, so scanning the car tonight with two different scan tools, both yielded 22 diagnostic trouble codes over 20 modules scanned. So strange, most of the codes do seem to appear to relate to a CAN bus issue in my mind.
