I talked to my local Hertz rental guy. He said in Houston they have a few Charger R/T rentals available. He also said that they have a problem with managers driving all of the Chrysler/Dodge Hemi cars... He said after the first month there was not one penny made on rentals of those vehicles. Needless to say they have been warned and 300s, Magnums and Charger Hemi's are available. Hertz has a rich heritage of renting high performance cars. In the late 60's the rented Shelby Mustangs, GT-350H, custom made by Ford/Shelby for Hertz. A rare collectable today.
