Transmission shifts
Before I bought my Daytona Charger, I test drove the Chrysler 300c's. I noticed that when you stomp on it and they shift it was a neck snapping shift. Not a very family friendly situation with my 2 year olds neck snapping back.
The Charger shifts smoother, and although it doesnt "neck snap", it doesnt stop accelerating during the shift. How does everyone elses Charger shift?
They are essentially the same cars with the motors and chasis.
On another note, the Charger is slightly longer and wider than the 300s!

My R/T shifts smoothly, but firmly under normal acceleration. If I hammer it, it shifts even more firmly (Flashpaq programmed to shift firmer).
One thing to remember is that these transmission "learn" how you drive. The harder you drive it, the harder (firmer) it will shift, so most everyone will shift a bit differently.

Yes. But its a continuing process. So, if you drive it hard all the time, it will learn your habits and shift more firmly (especially with the Flashpaq programmed into it). Drive it "normally" and it will soften up when you finally do hammer it. It should still shift pretty smoothly when driving it "normal", even after it learns to shift hard when you really get on it.
Edit: "Adaptive" would be a better way to describe it instead of "learning".
