Ok [:@]I know this is not legal but I want to do it anyways...I have the DVD player in the "top Banana" mounted in the center console and when you put in a disc to watch you have to flip the screen completely up before the movie is displayed. There is some kind of switch that is activated when you have the screen up. I want to disable that switch and be able to watch the movie with the screen down (in the console). Does anybody know where the switch is to do that? It has to be a limit switch in the arms or the console. I can get it about 3/4 of the way up and the screen display comes on. Any ideas on doing this task? Is there a wire I can reroute or a limit switch I can bypass???

 

My guess is that it makes connection for the display in the hinge, No switches, just contact points that close when rotated enough.
