in response to LordZon, yes it is possible to get a NEW CAR. you just have to let people know that you are not a push over. i was not going to take delivery of it until the dealer replaced the decals well, they had to order them and by then my car had 1100 miles on it. the dealer did not have the proper body shop for that so they sent it to a different dealer and that dealer left the car outside the gate over night and that is how the damage happened. well at that point i was not going to accept delivery of a damaged car so yes the dealer had to make things right. " that dealership was great" they can't help that the other dealership was that stupid but it was their problem for sending it there. the dealership took care of all of the vin changes and yes i'm sure they took a big hit but ya know i would buy from there again.
So, by not taking delivery you had technically not even owned the car yet. If that's the case then I could see them giving you another vehicle. But, that dealer has got to be unique in the fact that they would let you drive one of their cars, putting mileage on it WITHOUT having to take delivery of it first. Can you imagine the huge liability they are taking in doing that? If you had gotten in to an accident you or the other party involved could ending up owning that dealership. Not to mention the risk and loss they'll incur trying to unload the Daytona you drove, basically for free, for 1100 miles. If they do business like that I can see why you would go back to them. Who wouldn't..........

I've had mine almost a year now and the decals look brand new. I drove it through a tough Canadian winter, too. I think the trick is to make sure you don't get wax on them, or accidently start to lift the corner of a sticker during polishing. I don't wax my car at all...I don't like swirl marks.
FYI, I just asked Zaino about their products and the decals. This is what they said...

Can you use Zaino on decals? I have a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona, with large decals on the hood, quarters and trunk. They are flat black as opposed to gloss black.
a)Should Zaino be used on decals, and
b)Will it cause them to become glossy?

You're going love Zaino especially on all those decals. Zaino Show
Car Polish works great on all vinyl decals. It is non-abrasive, leaves
no white residue or wax buildup and actually makes the decals last
longer. It's UV40 protectant will keep the decals from shrinking, fading
and drying out. Plus it will make the decals look like they have a clear
coat over them. Try it on all the decals you'll love it.
NOTE: For Flat Black or Matte Decals.
Try a test spot on the Flat Black decals and see if you like the look.
It will make the decals have a slight gloss to them.. It boils down to a
matter of personal preference.
