charger door panel
I was replacing my door pins last night and dropped one through the door panel. I figured out how to reove the panel (pretty easy)but when I reinstalled it the top of door panel where it grips the window has a gap in it. Its an eye sore to me.
Anybody know of how to get the door panel to grip the door tightly? I tightened all the screws and put back all the rivites except one which I broke. I am thinking of taking it all apart again.
Door pins are a very cool mod and cheap. Not as good as the Mopar cold air pipe.

I can't answer your question - but I have one for you. Why would you replace perfectly good door pins? Are you talking about the hinge pins, or something else.

When I say door pins I mean the actual locks on the door panels. The stock ones are plastic and I purcahsed billet ones.
Here is the web site I used.

Sounds like you didnt get the top part over the top ledge at the window, the panel should "hang" on a lip on the door. Youl have to take it off and hook it over that lip.
I would consider those to be just regular door locks, but they call them door pulls and you call them door pins...I was cornfused

Hey BigBanana,
Thanks for the link to the Triton website. The door pulls do look pretty cool.
I found a set of chrome valve stem caps with the RAM's Head logo at the local AutoZone store the other day. They look way better than the cheap plastic ones that came stock with the car. They cost $12 for the set - probably $6 to manufacture. I wondered why Dodge just didn't do this at the factory.
I just have to figure out how to lock them to the valve stems. The plain chrome caps on my wife's Caravan have been stolen twice.

Yes they screw on an off. Counter clockwise to get them off.
Thanks HEMI 57 that web site is very cool. I bought some valve stem covers that are chrome and say R/T in red. Not bad $10.
