The problem is that as of right now TorRed is ONLY available as a Daytona, just like Mango & Banana. So if you want one of those 3 colors but not the big stickers you are out of luck unless you have the dealer remove them.
Exactly. I really wanted the ManGo color (and the spoilers) but didn't really care about the stickers at all. - The other stickers were fine with or without, I just didn't care for the hood sticker at all. I think in 2007 you will be able to purchase the spoilers as a package as well. So with that and the road and track option - you can get 99% of a daytona in any color you want.

I am sure anyone can remove the stickers (nothing to it really) but I liked having the dealer responsible for making it perfect.

Okay, I stopped by and spoke to the dealer today about removing the decals (he looked at me like I was crazy), he spoke to the body shop guys and they said it shouldn't be a problem as long as the paint had fully cured before the factory put the decals on and they would not be responsible if anything "went wrong" during the removal process.
Still can't decide...

So I'm confused...obviously I know the TorRed is for the Daytona packages in 06, but there were a few posts on here saying it would be availabe in the regular R/T version for 07, and the Dodge site has the TorRed option available in paint schemes for the regular R/T. Any info on this? I still haven't bought yet, and I'm weighing all my options. I love the chrome on the regular R/T grills. Same engine right? Is there any other differences with performance besides the extra 10 horses? Exhaust different? Thanks...
Yes, TorRed is available for Charger R/T and R/T Daytona. I have also heard it is available for Magnum R/T and Charger SXT... Magnum R/T is believable, but I dunno about SXT...

Per the 2007 Fleet buyers guide TorRed will be available on the SXT and R/T for both the Magnum and the Charger:

Thanks for the links, that's great info. Now I really don't know what to do (get the 06 Daytona or wait and order an 07) the Road & Track performance group in 07 will include the following:
> Optional AWD
> 20" wheels
> Rear Spoiler
> Front Spoiler
> Heritage R/T badge

So the 07 with the Road & Track performance group is basically an 06 Daytona with 20" rims & no decals!

Personally if you can wait, I would get the 07. By the time they come out with the TorRed, it will be winter and they will be discounting chargers to get them selling. (not to mention it will be a year newer, exactly what you want, and have any additional features they manage to come out with in the new year. (like the oil change light and other stuff....)

Michael.

(that being said, I am sure you will be fine with removing the stickers if you choose not to wait.)
